Out of all the makeup items that I normally use, the one I’ve experimented with the least is probably blush. I was pretty happy with using my MISSHA one, but I sometimes felt like the colour gets very intense because of how much I tend to swipe at one go (I’m not the gentlest person out there), so I wanted to see if I could try something else.

Packaging: Firstly, I have to say that while I try not to purchase cosmetics and skincare purely due to their packaging, this cushion’s one was really too cute. TFS has often had hits and misses with their collaborations (I’m not too keen on the ones they had with Trolls and Marvel tbh, but I love their Ryan and Simpsons collections).
Colour: I bought shade 02, which is a coral colour. I find that pink sometimes doesn’t work too well on me as a blush colour, so I thought coral was a better choice.
Colour payoff & intensity: As you can see, there’s glitter in the blush, which is really nice, but the colour isn’t very intense. I find that I usually have to build up about 2-3 layers to get a good colour payoff, but this blush is definitely buildable and looks very natural as a result.
Staying power: With regards to whether it stays on, I can assure you that it definitely does. I tend to get very lazy about contouring (got no energy for that in the morning), so I just use my blush to contour my cheekbones. I find that this works really well without making me look too gaudy, and has a nice shimmer to it as well. At the end of the day, my cheeks actually look almost the same as when I first did my makeup.
Final Verdict
I really really like this blush. Really.
I can’t find anything about this blush to complain about. Maybe if you like to do an intense job on the cheeks, this may not be your kind of thing because the puff makes it a little hard to plonk a huge chunk of blush at one go, but I think it makes for a very natural look, which I like.
Will I repurchase? Yes!
(In fact, I may permanently replace my MISSHA one with this…)
