In an ideal world, we would love every beauty product because everything works and everything is affordable. Unfortunately, things are not quite so rosy in real life. This is the first post on items I won’t be repurchasing – let’s hope that I won’t have to do too many of such posts :X
RiRe Luxe Glow Lipstick

This was just… simply put, not what I was looking for. The colour was way too purple for my liking. I know, it’s fuchsia pink (I just realized they didn’t even spell this correctly on their marketing materials, oh man), but surely the colour should look much closer to pink like in the promotional photos? It also doesn’t help that the packaging looks cheap, the product smells like plasticky wax, and my lips had an allergic reaction to it. Yeah. Just don’t buy this, I really don’t think it’s worth the money.
Colourpop Crème Gel Liner

I initially gave this product a glowing review but after I kept having huge chunks of the lead breaking off, I have changed my mind. I know this is really very affordable and the application is really smooth, but it breaks my heart whenever this breaks off. I swore I had half of the lead break off, so I had to go buy a new eyeliner much earlier than I expected. I’m never repurchasing this again to save myself the heartache.
TFS Signature Highlighter

This just didn’t work for me. I don’t know why. Maybe you need to be very fair for the glow and colours to be seen. All I know is that I can’t see much on my skin, so I’m giving this a pass.
LANEIGE Water Sleeping Mask

I really wanted to love this product because it feels and smells so good, but my skin has not been reacting well to it 🙁 I won’t be buying this again, but it’s a personal skin issue rather than a product deficiency. This might work better for you if your skin is normal/dry, and not so sensitive.
Etude House Any Cushion All Day Perfect

Having tried other fantastic cushion compacts, I’m sorry to say that this really falls short. Coverage is minimal, staying power not as great as advertised, and leaves your skin looking patchy and cakey. It’s a definite no from me.
