Here’s a confession: I haven’t done my makeup for more than a month because of the pandemic, and I’m pretty much living vicariously through my way overdue reviews ?
Today I wanted to share one of my favourite blushes that is actually not from a K-beauty brand (surprise!). I know many beauty junkies consider this a holy grail, and I have to admit it that isn’t quite as far-fetched as the praise goes.

Review
Packaging
It’s surprisingly a bit bulky, with the middle part bulging out a little. However, I appreciate the gold rims that aren’t cheap nor tacky.
Colour
Temptalia describes the shade Bella Bellini as a ‘moderately warm-toned, medium pink with a metallic finish’. Rather than metallic I would say there’s a nice golden shimmer, which I seriously love because it doubles up as highlighter so my lazy ass can skip out on it.
For those with warm undertones and not-super-fair skin colours, I assure you that you will love this peachy pink that seriously makes you look like you’re in the pink of health even if you’re dying inside.
I actually think the shade looks very similar to NARS’ famed Orgasm blush, and a few people have pointed out that it is a pretty good dupe.
Colour payoff & intensity
I’ve been using K & J-beauty blushes for so long that I’ve almost forgotten how seriously intense blushes from Western brands tend to be.
You really don’t need a lot – actually just one swipe of this blush is more than enough colour, but I recommend putting on at least 2 layers to make the colour more vibrant.
Staying power
I haven’t found any need to touch up on my blush – the colour stays on for hours on end.
That being said, the shimmer does seem to dull a little towards the end of the day, so if you’re very particular about not losing your shine, my advice is to still dab a little of your liquid highlighters below this blush.
Final Verdict
I love Milani’s Baked Blush to bits!
I hardly ever say that I love blushes but I am seriously in love with the Baked Blush. There is no doubt that this is worth all the rave reviews out there, especially when you consider that this is a drugstore blush that doesn’t cost a bomb.
I am very tempted to get more shades but considering that I still have so many still sitting on my vanity table + new blushes that I wanna try. I’ll put off the shade expansion… for now!
