After my Colourpop eyeliner died on me (aka a whole chunk of the lead just broke off and I was left with a stump I could barely use), I had to find another pencil eyeliner as a backup, just in case my TFS one died the same way too.
Product Description
Long-lasting eyeliner with the compound function of all day long smudge-free strong waterproof and sweatproof
Official Retail Price in Singapore: SGD 29.00

Ingredient List
Iron Oxide, Carmine, Titanium Dioxide, Ferric Ferrocyanide, Mica, Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Synthetic Wax, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Hydrogenated Poly(C6-14Olefin), Hydrogenated Polydecene, Polybutene, Silica Silylate, Rhus succedanea Fruit Wax., Ethylene/Propylene Copolymer, Pentaerythrityl Tetra-d-t-butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate, Carnauba Wax
According to this source, Hydrogenated Polydecene is persistent or bioaccumulative and moderate to high toxicity concern in humans. It sounds quite disturbing, but apparently the overall hazard is actually low so it should pose a high risk to humans.
My initial choice was actually Light Brown because I wanted to try a lighter shade to brighten my eyes, but the LANEIGE store I went to ran out of stock for it, so I opted to get it in Dark Brown instead.

Packaging: A simple pencil, as with most pencil liners. It’s light and convenient to carry around in your makeup pouch. What I do particularly like is that it looks quite luxurious.
Colour payoff & intensity: I thought no other pencil eyeliner could beat Colourpop’s payoff. I was WRONG. This eyeliner is so good that I just need to draw a line once and it’s intense enough (see swatch photo above). You won’t need to keep drawing the same line over and over again, or risk tugging at your eyelids to get the perfect colour.
Staying power: By now we know that not all claims are necessarily true, and so I was a bit skeptical when I saw that this eyeliner claimed to be waterproof, sweatproof, and able to hold up the entire day. I was proven wrong when I had this one for a super long day – I woke up at 5.30AM, rushed through some work preparations in the afternoon, helped out at an event until about 10PM, and reached home at about 10.45PM. I was prepared to have most of my makeup gone by then – my foundation had partly oxidized, my lipstick was gone, but my eyeliner was still intact! COMPLETELY intact! My eyelids were definitely oily and I obviously perspired quite a lot in the day, but my eyeliner had not budged at all!
Final Verdict
I never thought that I would spend so much money on an eyeliner, and I was really worried that this was going to be one of those ‘meh’ purchases that made me regret being so experimental, but I’m so happy that I tried this because it’s so good!!
The only thing that made me feel a bit ‘meh’ when I was using this was that just like the Colourpop eyeliner, the lead is really soft so it breaks off super easily. I once accidentally broke off a chunk when I was being too rough, and I could hear my heart break because this was really quite pricey. You might have to be prepared to have your heart broken once in a while when you use this product.
